She cleans up nicely

Got some cleaner and polisher and wax last week and did a few test spots. She's going to clean up nicely. In the original photos the car almost looks like it was done in res primer, but that's just bad oxidation. Fortunately, it comes out nice after a little elbow grease. This picture is of the small test spot I did on the hood. You can click on the picture for a full size version.

The only thing I can say about this picture is the garage floor. Isn't it cool? Daniel painted it and then sprinkle cool little pieces of confetti thingies. That's the female term here. :-)

Now I want to do the patio. Heh. But "Bloodsucker" wants all the money.

Hey- it's the wife. Since I keep forgetting to ask, will that garage paint and cute little sprinkle thingies work on the patio? (don't tell me to stay on topic, I never do.. :P)

Love ya. Ooopsie, I'm turning this Macho Car Blog into a Girlie Car Blog!

Cool blog, I just jumped to it from a post on saabnet. It's similar to the blog I've made for my '92 900s that I bought for $800 in January; I'm fixing it up for autocross. Check out http://saablog.blog.com/
Keep up the good work! I'll check back and see how your 9000 project progresses.

Hi David,
Its good to see someone restoring a 9000. I have a 1989 9000CD manual edwardian grey which looks nearly new, everything working well and goes great. Another is 1990 9000T DI automatic silver which also looks like new and is getting a new exhaust now. I do all the maintenance except replacing the timing chains to ensure they are spot on otherwise they need nothing provided you service then regularly and dont abuse them. Great cars so will yours also be. I will keep coming back to enjoy your peogress.
